Y'all know Tom and Caffie Murffie? I do. They are one of the sweetest couples/ppl I have ever met. I am so truly blessed to have them in my life. On Sabbath afternoons we like to go to singing band. Iris organizes it. We do it every third Sabbath @ the convalescent home in town. At first I was excited. Once I started going I got sad. Then sometimes I got weirded out. Now. I love going. Despite the unfamiliar or sometimes unpleasant smells and sights. I know sometimes we are the only visitors some of these poor people get.

Sometimes we have a few groupies. lol I decided not to post them. Wasn't sure I was allowed. We all have a humbling experience when we go. My children don't always enjoy it. I know they like to see the smiles on some of these faces though when we show up. Have you ever gone?

Fun side jobs.....and I get paid to do these. Woohoo!

...and to think, my children and I sat on these for a few months. What took me soo long. Daaaahhh.

See pic here...black tank stand. Amazing difference. I forgot to take pictures b4 I cleaned them. Even worse. 2" thick of dust, dirt, dog hair, and I don't even know what else. I don't think I want to know.

Howdy dowdy!

How are you? Well I am great. I have been doing some side jobs cleaning, organizing, and fixing things up. My last projects were rusty old chairs and a fish tank with stand. A big messy fish tank. So Cathy says I should blog them. I wasn't going to, until I saw the pictures. It is amazing what a little elbow grease and paint can do. Just think.....so true to the saying, "one person's trash is another person's treasure".

Every 3rd Sabbath our church goes to singing band. When I first started going, in 1999, I was excited. Seemed it would be a fun thing. Then I was sad. Now I'm glad. We take our family and life so for granted all the time. Even though we hear it said in person or in song. So I enjoy it now. I get a kick out of the folk there. Sometimes we are the only ones that comes to visit. I pray that we touch there lives. They love my children. Any children. It brighten's most faces.

My lil'sis and I

My little sis and I are 4yrs. and 8mths apart. Her being the younger one, lucky, and the taller one might I add. No fair. lol We only live about a dozen miles apart, yet we seem to rarely see each other. So I, being the pic-aholic I am, (off my phone mind you) have been taking an obscene amount of pics when I do see her. So funny. She says I'm a nut. She's Mounds, I'm Almond Joy. Some times you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't. I think I'm a nut by nature. woohoo.

I'm so glad they are in each others lives. It might not be as often as they want. A little is better than nothing at all.

Well, another year of VBS. It may seem like they only go for the prizes/gifts, but I know they love to go to dress up like this. lol I'm jealous. They look so cute. To be a kid again.

Of course it has become a tradition having wild animals come too. My children look soooo forward to this.

So hello y'all. I was just wondering if ya know what these letters stand for? I have plenty of "to do" list. How about you? Well, luckily we have an awesome Friend/Father. He would love to take on the "honey-do-list" for us. Sometimes we take on too much and it is our own fault. Sometimes we take on and don't ask for help. Well, these letters stand for: Save For God To Do! Don't ya just love it! Having 5 beautiful children is a blessing, it's also a handful. Sometimes (more times than not) I need to put some of my files in the "SFGTD" box. How about you?
