You know your a Redneck when.............................

So...today was one of those days. Those days when I look at my kids and say,"You know mama's a redneck when..........." I'm driving by this beautiful neighborhood...I'm moving again...ugh grrrrrr All of a sudden my side vision see's FREE. How I love those words. lol Mike and Erika slid and hid. I stop the van and there they are....those free items...Awesome new looking stroller, ab swinger good condition, 2 drawer filing cabinet, 2 laundry baskets. Wow. Did I get them? Daaaaahhhhhh

Stepper anyone? Works great. When in use. heeheehee free free free
RIGHT; Cute lil end table sitting in front of someones house.

BELOW;

A lane cedar chest below. I always wanted one for my 8th grade graduation dress, graduation gown, and wedding dress. Someone was getting rid of it. For FREE ..yeah baby thats what I'm talking about. It even has tags and keys. LOOOOVE IT.

I love green. It is my fav color. One Sabbath I was visiting a friend in Santa Rosa. She wanted to go shopping and new I didn't go out on Sabbath so I went to this beautiful park full of nature and lil trails. When I left I drove around this really pretty neighborhood just looking at the gardens. (I was getting ready to move so was getting new ideas.) Any way, I happen upon these two chairs for FREE in front of someones house. I needed them. Didn't have any chairs for my new house. Woohoo

To the right is 1 of the 3 chairs I got for free. I home school Erika and Luke. I had been praying about a couple of nice chairs. We would bring the ones from our kitchen table. That was ok. It is just more convenient to have 1 in each place though. Wouldn't you know God gave 1 for Erika, 1for Luke, and lil ol me.

Below is an ab machine. I enjoy working out. Yeah right. I'm gonna sell this at the next garage sale I swore I would never have. This was free in front of a house today too.

I was just letting God know 2 days ago, when I was overfilled with laundry for 6 people, that I needed more than 1 basket. He is good. All the time. I haven't had much extra moola latle. Actually ever. LOL I just fought 4 tickets. Majorly reduced fines. But there are still fines. About $300.oo. Thats a lot for me. So God was so sweet, this was in front of someones house today. Woohoo.

Bye bye summer.

Michael and Jess in Hawaii where they became close friends. He met her at school. Her friends and his friends all hung out and so came to be them as friends. Here he is at Winter Formal being a formal goof ball. Michael like me? Never. So he says. Me, I beg to differ. He does so many goofy things like me. Sorry. I don't think I am all that bad. LoL (any comments friends?)

His beautiful friend Jess. He has come to adore her. It is sweet.

This summer they got to go with there school to a few lake trips, camp outs, ski-ing, wake boarding, body surfing, house boating. Anyone jealous? I know I am. I kept waiting for them to invite me. Lots of other parents went. How come I couldn't? Gee ma...umm son, please can I go? Oh yea I have 7 other people that rely on me and need me. Maaaaaan. lol

One of his best friends from school hiding under blanket with him. Niiiiiice. Silly boys. Maybe they are just trying to keep from getting sun burned

The 3 of them. I know it is suppose to be two peas in a pod. But...well it just fits 3 peas in a pod. They got to be together a lot over the summer until life set back in. What is that song? "Back to life, back to reality." Precious teenage summer memories.

My niece made it to the top 12 of the Manteca Idol.

This one isn't the one that entered the competition. This is my beautiful oldest niece Laura. All grown up. I remember watching her doing her lil recital. I think it was "Rockin Robin" so adorable then and now.

Below:
This is my beautiful talented sweet niece. She entered the Idol competition. Not sure how it all worked. I just know she invited our family and we had a great time hearing her and getting to visit them. I haven't been able to see my nieces or nephews in about 6 months. I'm such a big baby when I saw them I cried. I am teary eyed just looking at these pics and how they have grown. Below: My brother-in-law Dave, my niece Jess, and sister-in-law Jackie after the competition.

To the left to the left: My niece Jess, me, my niece Alexa. They have grown too fast. I'm so proud of all of them. A-lex just graduated too. She is the same age as Michael.

Below: Another one of my nieces Amber. I use to call her precious because her big beautiful eyes reminded me of the Precious Moments Characters.

Below is my Nephew Josh. Super football star. Just had a birthday. Amazing how fast they all grow. You are happy one minute then sad the next. Wondering where did the time go. He is Erika's age.
I was upset I am missing one of my nephews. We took a pic and I didn't realize till after I sent it that the lens shut half way. So our picture came out half black and distorted.

Here is my sweet lil nephew Jacob who started school this year. He was telling me all about it. He loves it. He is Lukey's age.

Sorry Tom...........HAPPY BIRTHDAY.......anyway.

This was suppose to be a golf course cake for Pa's..aka Tom...birthday. Lovely. The picture makes it look even worse than it looked in person.

Well, it was sweet Tom's birthday. I thought I had some goodies left over from my last cake. (my niece's) I thought wrong. So I made this cake and while I was cooking it I went to get out all the goodies. To my utter amazement and surprise....not! My sweet adorable 5 children had gotten into them. So needless to say I had no more moola to get the items I thought I had. I had to come up with a new plan. Lets just say it didn't come out well at all. Absolute disaster in looks and taste. So funny. I gave it to him anyway. They had to throw it away since it tasted soooo bad. Hilarious. Sorry Tom. Thought was there. Happy Birthday. Love ya, better luck next time huh...................LOL

Happy Birthday to Ms. Alyssa. 7yrs. old. TT loves you. Hope you liked your cake. Nathan say's "wow mom, that's the most unhealthy thing I think you have ever made. I will have to agree. Lots of sugar. blah/yum
There are little gummy turtles and fishies. Soo cute.

Well, my sweet niece just had her 7th birthday. She loves "littliest pet shop. So as a gift I thought I'd make a cake. It is suppose to be a duck and cat on a lake in a row boat. With palm trees in back ground. It looks a bit silly here. It was really tasty though.

A.Y.S.= Adventist Youth Social's. Where are you?

Wally is 2nd in charge with the A.Y.S. The youth and Wally have worked so well together planning each week the song service, the ice breaker or getting to know you, the Bible Study, and then the refreshments and/or games. My 5 children and I love it. We have even started bringing our neighborhood kids. They enjoy it too. I wish more of our church family would come support and enjoy this program the youth and Wally have worked so hard to do. Sometimes you run out of money or ideas for what to do to close Sabbath. This is the perfect idea if you ask me. Anyone reading this that has yet to come. You don't know what you are missing out on.

Amber, Erika, and I. We had soo much fun. Every Sabbath we do this. Some people are missing out.

Evelyn, Hiroko, LaVonne, Lizzy, and Wally. We sing songs of praise and worship.

Lizzy and I during the "getting to know you" part.

Hunter family during the free-time.

Our Bible Studies have been on Daniel
.

de Sousa family, their neighbors, and the Li's. Just getting ready for our game of "Who am I".

Lillian, Tristan, Sam, and LaVonne.
"Who am I?" We have names on our backs. No notes don't say kick me...heeheehee. We could ask each person only 3 yes or no questions to see which Bible character name is on our backs.
I don't know if you can see, LaVonne and Tristan have there name tags on there front. Lucky dogs. They already guessed who they were. =D
