Good bye Anna. Good luck in Texas.

One of our last pictures together b4 she left.
If you look at our eyes...can you tell we've been crying? Never under-estimate the blessing of a friend. My step-grandmother gave me a saying in a frame once.... Your ways are not my ways. Your thoughts are not my thoughts. ...but Your love is my love forever. Love that saying. So my friends. Don't forget to tell the ones you love...that you love them. So... I love you. Pretty much everyone I know of that reads this is someone of whom I have a special memory with and they are my friend. So know that not only does Jesus love you...I do. <3 <3 <3 <3 ,3

Anna and I in San Francisco.

Anna and I when she first moved her. We had a tea party with our church family. ( Cecelia and Shannon where there too. )

I can't believe she is almost to Texas. (she drove out with 1 kid, 2 cats, and 3 dogs.)

A "tree"ific tradition?

Well, I know that Christmas is over. I love it soo much though that I just wanted to say I hope you all had a good one. It was our first Christmas in our new home. It was very peaceful and very pretty.

I had all five kids, Michael's girlfriend, and her cousin here. We got all the stuff out for the tree and they literally started throwing the decorations on. It was Michael just kinda being a smarty pants at first, then they all started doing it. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. LOL It ended up turning out beautiful.

This mess is for the birds.

I found the sweet little culprit. LOL hee/hee
Sooooo funny. New years we took our Christmas decorations down. Michael helped me take down the lights outside. As you walk out my front door, hanging to the right there is a bird feeder with seeds in it. I noticed the next day that there were seeds all over our front porch. I asked Michael to clean it up, assuming he was the one who knocked them all over. After all have you seen the way my son pulls the lights down helping me. Scary. Just grabs the end, while standing on the ground, and starts yanking. Ugghhh yikes! So anyway. He says it wasn't him. He blamed poor Nathan. So I go talk to Nathan. "It wasn't me mom" Poor Nathan gets blamed for so much. He swore he didn't do it. Ok. So I go clean the mess. Next morning the same thing. Ok fine so I move the silly thing. Maybe people are hitting it on the way out the door. Go figure. I hung it in a different spot. In front of my kitchen window. So doing dishes 3 days later. Guess what I found out. Had some apologizing to do. lol Happy day.

Pictures from cookie exchange.

Well, this is all I could do for now. Margie, Karen, and Alma came too.

Here are some of the women who came. Dor'e, Dor'e Sr., Hiroko, Evelyn, 2 of Hiroko's friends, LaVonne, Caroline, and Anna in background.

Well, this was Linda's home where we did the cookie exchange. I lit all the candles hoping to get the ambiance on film. It was very warm and cozy. Total Kodak moments. Smell was delicious. Lot's of different types of tea's and creamers. Really don't know why this table was set. We weren't allowed to sit there. lol
