This is the creek they stopped at to let the horses rest and have a quiet lunch. Envious yet? lol I would love to be here. I can almost hear the sounds of nature calling out to me.

She amazes me the places she finds. She grew up in these parts and went on day or weekend trips with her dad a lot. She retained in her beautiful brain, all the places they went and how to get there.

Well, my sweet lucky friends just celebrated another anniversary. I believe it was there 17th year. Praise God. Well look at where the lucky couple got to go. Isnt it beautiful. God is so amazing. Wouldn't this be a perfect place to spend a Sabbath afternoon.

Ok now I am in trouble. I thought I'd check my blog, that Cathy and Cecelia have offically gotten me addicted to, and my poor son fell asleep. The bad part is, he was waiting for me to read his Uncle Arthur Bed Time Stories to him. uugghh....Anyone, or should I say, any parent ever done that? Or am I the only "bad momma of the year"? Graduated from Seals to Eels.

Erika,(not pictured) Trist, Nate, & Luke (w/their teachers) had swim lessons. So much fun to have the pool semi to themselves. They went Mon. thru Thurs. from 11-11:45. Perfect time, weather, & amount of kids. Usually pool is packed after the lunch shift. They look so happy. I'm happy. Inexpensive fun and they are learning how to use good swim technique. What is your favorite summer memory?

Michael graduated...class of 2008

Woohooo!!! My son did it. Michael Jacob, I'm so proud of you.!!! There are not many in my family who finished school. Now-a-days it seems ppl quit things a lot quicker then necessary. I hand it to kids today who perservere. When I would look at Michaels work it seemed so different then I remember mine being. I went to a public high school and graduated with pretty good grades. It wasn't the easiest work, but it didn't seem as hard as the subjects today. The long and short version of things. New formulas. So glad we don't have to take it to Heaven with us. A lot has changed in 17yrs ha?

Next step....college.

Anyway...congrats to anyone else who has recently graduated. 2008!!!!

Well good morning, afternoon, evening. Today is a new day. So get up and go dust the stink off ya. lol =) My son just graduated from a Christian Academy. 17 yrs. old. How old am I? I don't feel old. I can still do a cartwheel, round-off, into the splits and flip backward off a swing. Did I miss something? How can I have a 17 yr. old who just graduated high school and is going off to a Junior College? Where does time go?

Woohoo! It's summer vacation!

Well hello summer. I'm so happy when my children are on summer vacation. You know why? Because that means I am too. The lady I've been doing child-care for (for the past 5yrs.) loves me soooo much that she wants me to have paid vacation with my children. Or....ahhhh...well, maybe it is because she is a teacher and has summer vacation as well. lol
So any ways. We have been going to the water park, library park, skate park, historical parks, and play-ground parks. Soo much fun so little time. I have been trying to find fun places to visit within a couple of hours from home that are free or inexpensive. Gas and 5 chickadees isn't cheap. Well worth it though. Thank you Lord. =]
