SKI DIVING ANYONE?????????

Well hello there. What is the craziest thing you have ever done? Ski diving, rocky mountain climbing, 2.7 seconds on a bull name Fu Man Chu? We went down as a family to watch Michael and Mike do the 2 1/2 minute fall. It was awesome. One guy's first chute didn't open. That was a little freaky. Other then that all went well.
Mike wanted to do something special for Michael's senior graduation. He asked Michael what he would like to do. My son, nothing at all like me, says ski dive. Ahhhh ok. So here they are affidatives in lap looking at the tv. There was a video on stating that if there parachute didn't open or if there is any malfunction or any damage or death involved you will not sue. I REPEAT YOU WILL NOT SUE IF YOU ARE KILLED. Huuu

Ah Teen I have to tell you ....I took out a life insurance policy just in case my parachute doesn't open. The code is....................

The instructor asked Michael "Hey dude, did you make sure all your players are in center field?" Michael was like ahhh huuuu....ooooo Yeah man. Then the instructor yanked on those harness belts. Ouch. But ahhh yea it kept him safe.

Mike is having second thoughts. Look at his face. Does this look like a man who WANTS to jump? When you look up the word petrified in the dictionary I think this is the face you would see.

Soooo much time preparing for this. It takes longer to gear up then the actually jump takes.

Checking straps, belts, buckles, and harnesses. Don't want any one slipping out or away from instructor.

Mike and Michael were checked twice by there instructors. Now time to head out and go over how to land one more time. ( and hopefully check the instructors chuts. )

Here is Michael's instructor. Notice he is checking himself twice too. Thank you so much since you will be carrying my son.

This is the sweet lil' airplane 12 people piled in. Six jumpers and six instructors.

Michael is just amazed by the awesome experience that was. He said it felt like a roller-coaster ride and spinning on a tire swing all in one.

Praise God!!!!

They made it. Luke couldn't get them unbuckled fast enough. He was so happy when they land

You know your a Redneck when.............................

So...today was one of those days. Those days when I look at my kids and say,"You know mama's a redneck when..........." I'm driving by this beautiful neighborhood...I'm moving again...ugh grrrrrr All of a sudden my side vision see's FREE. How I love those words. lol Mike and Erika slid and hid. I stop the van and there they are....those free items...Awesome new looking stroller, ab swinger good condition, 2 drawer filing cabinet, 2 laundry baskets. Wow. Did I get them? Daaaaahhhhhh

Stepper anyone? Works great. When in use. heeheehee free free free
RIGHT; Cute lil end table sitting in front of someones house.

BELOW;

A lane cedar chest below. I always wanted one for my 8th grade graduation dress, graduation gown, and wedding dress. Someone was getting rid of it. For FREE ..yeah baby thats what I'm talking about. It even has tags and keys. LOOOOVE IT.

I love green. It is my fav color. One Sabbath I was visiting a friend in Santa Rosa. She wanted to go shopping and new I didn't go out on Sabbath so I went to this beautiful park full of nature and lil trails. When I left I drove around this really pretty neighborhood just looking at the gardens. (I was getting ready to move so was getting new ideas.) Any way, I happen upon these two chairs for FREE in front of someones house. I needed them. Didn't have any chairs for my new house. Woohoo

To the right is 1 of the 3 chairs I got for free. I home school Erika and Luke. I had been praying about a couple of nice chairs. We would bring the ones from our kitchen table. That was ok. It is just more convenient to have 1 in each place though. Wouldn't you know God gave 1 for Erika, 1for Luke, and lil ol me.

Below is an ab machine. I enjoy working out. Yeah right. I'm gonna sell this at the next garage sale I swore I would never have. This was free in front of a house today too.

I was just letting God know 2 days ago, when I was overfilled with laundry for 6 people, that I needed more than 1 basket. He is good. All the time. I haven't had much extra moola latle. Actually ever. LOL I just fought 4 tickets. Majorly reduced fines. But there are still fines. About $300.oo. Thats a lot for me. So God was so sweet, this was in front of someones house today. Woohoo.

Bye bye summer.

Michael and Jess in Hawaii where they became close friends. He met her at school. Her friends and his friends all hung out and so came to be them as friends. Here he is at Winter Formal being a formal goof ball. Michael like me? Never. So he says. Me, I beg to differ. He does so many goofy things like me. Sorry. I don't think I am all that bad. LoL (any comments friends?)

His beautiful friend Jess. He has come to adore her. It is sweet.

This summer they got to go with there school to a few lake trips, camp outs, ski-ing, wake boarding, body surfing, house boating. Anyone jealous? I know I am. I kept waiting for them to invite me. Lots of other parents went. How come I couldn't? Gee ma...umm son, please can I go? Oh yea I have 7 other people that rely on me and need me. Maaaaaan. lol

One of his best friends from school hiding under blanket with him. Niiiiiice. Silly boys. Maybe they are just trying to keep from getting sun burned

The 3 of them. I know it is suppose to be two peas in a pod. But...well it just fits 3 peas in a pod. They got to be together a lot over the summer until life set back in. What is that song? "Back to life, back to reality." Precious teenage summer memories.
